We do not use your name or email for any other purpose, such as marketing, advertising, or selling to third parties.

Automatically Collected Information (Non-Personal)

Our App uses Google Firebase, which may collect limited, non-personal information automatically to help us understand how users interact with the App. This may include:

• Device Information: Such as device type, operating system version, and general language/country settings.

• App Usage Data: Data related to how you use the App, such as screens viewed, time spent in the app, feature interactions, and crash reports.

• User Identifiers: Firebase generates a unique, non-personal identifier (User ID) associated with your device to track usage metrics and link your actions to your account, but this ID is not directly tied to your name or email in the analytics data.

2. How We Use Information

We use the information we collect solely for the following purposes:

For Account Functionality and Service Delivery

• To enable you to sign in to the App using your chosen provider (Google or Apple).

• To maintain and manage your user account.

• To sync and secure your in-app data (streaks, liked scriptures, collections, and testimonies) across all your devices via the cloud.

• To restore your data if you switch to a new device.

For App Improvement and Operations (Using Non-Personal Data)

• To monitor app performance and reliability.

• To understand feature usage to guide future updates and design changes.

• To identify and fix technical issues and bugs.

3. Third-Party Services

We rely on third-party services for core functionality and analytics. These providers may have access to information only as necessary to perform their functions and are obligated not to disclose or use it for other purposes.

  • Firebase Authentication: Used to manage user accounts.

  • Firebase Firestore: Used to store and sync user data (likes, collections, streaks, testimonies, name, and email).

• Sign in with Google (Google LLC): Used as an optional method for account creation and sign-in.

• Sign in with Apple (Apple Inc.): Used as an optional method for account creation and sign-in.

4. Children’s Privacy

Bible Hour is an App intended for a general audience. While the content is suitable for all ages, the account feature relies on third-party sign-in services (Apple and Google), which have their own age restrictions. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13 without verifiable parental consent. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13 without appropriate consent, we will take steps to delete that information promptly.

5. Data Security

We implement commercially reasonable security measures designed to protect your information, including the use of Firebase's secure, managed infrastructure for data storage and authentication. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure.

6. Your Choices and Rights

• Account Information: If you wish to update or change your display name, you can do so within the App’s profile editing screen.

• Data Deletion: You can request the deletion of your account and all associated data by contacting us directly at the email address below.

• Analytics Opt-Out: You may disable analytics collection at the device level by adjusting your mobile device settings (for example, opting out of “Allow Apps to Request to Track” on iOS or disabling “Ads Personalization” on Android).
